What to Expect

Hiring someone to remodel your bathroom means having a crew in your home, decisions to make under a deadline, and a space you depend on temporarily out of commission. Knowing what the experience looks like from start to finish makes all of that easier to manage. Here’s how a typical project goes with us.

Step 1 — Free Consultation & Evaluation

We start with a no-obligation visit to look at the space, talk through what you want to accomplish, and ask the right questions. What’s working? What isn’t? Are you replacing fixtures, changing the layout, or starting from scratch? This conversation shapes everything that follows, and there’s no pressure to commit on the spot.

Step 2 — Design & Proposal

Based on the consultation, we put together a detailed written proposal covering scope of work, materials, and pricing. For more involved remodels, we can develop a design plan so you can visualize the finished space before any decisions are locked in. We walk you through everything — tile, fixtures, cabinetry, finishes — so there are no surprises once work begins.

Step 3 — Scheduling & Project Start

Once you approve the proposal, we schedule your project start date. We’ll give you a clear timeline upfront — how many days or weeks the work is expected to take — so you can plan around it. For bathrooms that are the only one in the home, we’re mindful of minimizing disruption and will discuss that specifically during planning.

Step 4 — The Work

Our crew shows up on time and works efficiently. The sequence varies by project, but typically runs: demolition and removal → plumbing and electrical rough-in → waterproofing and backing → tile and flooring → fixture and hardware installation → paint and trim → final detail work. All electrical and plumbing work is performed by licensed subcontractors.

Step 5 — Final Walkthrough

Before we call the job done, we do a thorough walkthrough with you. We check everything — no leaks, proper function, clean installation, no unfinished details. If anything doesn’t meet your expectations, we address it before we leave.

Step 6 — Cleanup

We handle complete cleanup of the work area. You shouldn’t have to deal with debris, dust, or leftover materials. The space gets handed back to you ready to use.

A Few Practical Notes

  • Permits — Depending on the scope of work, permits may be required. We handle that process and ensure all work meets local building codes.
  • Timelines — A basic fixture replacement or tub-to-shower conversion typically takes a few days. A full bathroom remodel with layout changes can run two to four weeks. We’ll give you a specific estimate for your project.
  • Licensed subcontractors — All electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work is subcontracted to contractors licensed by the State of Texas.
  • Communication — You’ll have a direct point of contact throughout the project. If something comes up or the scope changes, we discuss it with you before proceeding.
